Miami Beach: Hot Spot For Visitors

Miami Beach offers an exciting holiday location. Visitors from around Florida and across the globe come to soak-up sun along sandy beaches. They arrive to enjoy numerous art exhibits and galleries which show an intellectual side to life where the night is devoted to partying.

Before deciding what to do with your days, figure out where you will be sleeping-off your exhaustion. Accommodation in the area ranges from budget hotels to boutique resorts. Luxury accommodation is especially lovely if you arrive for a wedding, anniversary, or an important corporate gathering. Choose one with a big banquet hall or meeting room which can be rented for personal or professional gatherings.

While the bride and groom fly away for their honeymoon, guests can take advantage of their proximity to good food. Sample dishes inspired by Asian cuisine. Enjoy the tastes of Europe. If you want a snack instead of a meal, there are lots of little cafes and tea rooms serving baked goods, sandwiches and drinks. If you came without kids, stop by a tavern or lounge and sip a tropical martini.

If you came with kids, then save gourmet cuisine for a night when you reserve babysitting services at your hotel. Otherwise, the ticket to full bellies is economical restaurants serving large helpings of comfort food. While some kids appreciate gourmet offerings, many prefer fries and burgers. With more than two hundred eateries to choose from, everyone will be satisfied. Stay in a suite with kitchen facilities, pack lunches, then visit cafes and tea rooms for snacks and hot drinks between meals instead.

Select resort accommodation if you want to spoil yourself. While resorts also provide places for swimming and working out, at least guests will be able to unwind with massage services and facials afterwards. Look for package deals at regular hotels too. These might provide spa services off-sight as part of the accommodation fee. Make yourself feel like royalty still further by renting a limousine for a night of dancing at local clubs.

There are plenty of ways to get around in this part of Florida. Public transport will guide the directionally-challenged to art galleries and cultural displays. Take time for reflection at the Holocaust Memorial and Jewish Museum before the bus takes you back to an apartment or guest house.

Other ways to expand cultural horizons include visits to Jackie Gleason Theater or one of the parks where live performances could be going on. These include opera, plays, dance, and more. Make your way to an outdoor arena via roller blades or a scooter. If you want to go shopping in Miami Beach, however, antique shops and malls prefer that patrons wear shoes.
